Getting started
What Sarx is, who it's for, and where it's open.
Sarx is a dating app for college students. It matches you with someone at your
school, and the first date happens at a local restaurant or bar that has agreed to
host Sarx dates — a real table, at a real place, rather than weeks of messages.
Currently enrolled college students who are eighteen or older, with a campus
email address at a school where Sarx is open. We verify that address before an
account becomes usable, and the ID check confirms you are over eighteen.
The first campuses are in Georgia: Georgia Tech, Emory University, Georgia State
University, Kennesaw State University and the University of Georgia. They open one
at a time, and a campus stays shut until enough of its students have signed up for
it.
The first campuses open in spring 2027, one campus at a time. If you've joined the
waitlist at sarx.link/early, we'll email you when yours
opens.
Not in the app yet, but you can put your school on the map. Join the waitlist at
sarx.link/early with your .edu address — every
signup counts towards the campuses we open next. An address that isn't a
.edu joins the general mailing list instead.
Yes. Sarx is free at launch, and the app sells nothing today. If it ever sells
something, it will be bought through Apple, and the price will be shown before you
pay.
Not yet. Sarx is an iPhone app, for iOS 17 or later. The website at sarx.link is
for the waitlist and for venues — it isn't a way to use Sarx itself.
From the App Store on your iPhone — search for Sarx. You'll
create your account inside the app with your campus email.
